Destiny Magaña-Pablo joined Children’s Institute in July 2023.

Destiny is passionate about student success and promoting health and wellness practices within and across Latino, Black, Indigenous, Asian, Slavic, immigrant, and refugee communities. She has experience supporting students and families in accessing public education in her previous roles as the Coordinated Enrollment Project Manager, Multnomah Education Initiative Coordinator, Telecounselor, and College Advocate Mentor. Destiny is researching social movements within a Portland, Oregon, historical framework with a major in Political Science and a minor in Criminology and Criminal Justice at Portland State University. She is determined to push racial justice through dismantling systemic barriers, starting with education. Destiny enjoys cooking for friends and family, appreciating art and music, and figuring out life through gardening.
