Amy Dowd, PMP

Chief Operations Officer, CareOregon

Amy Dowd is a health care professional with more than 20 years of experience in healthcare operations, process improvement, and service delivery. Amy joined CareOregon in 2019 and has responsibility for Operations, Information Systems, and Enterprise Project Management. Prior to CareOregon, Amy worked in Corporate Operations at Molina Health Care, Inc. headquarters in Long Beach, CA. She was also CEO of New Mexico’s Health Insurance Marketplace, and was the Founding Executive Director/CEO of Idaho’s Health Insurance Marketplace. Amy has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Environmental Studies from the State University of New York (SUNY) College of Environmental Science and Forestry, Syracuse, New York, and holds Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Amy believes diverse perspectives, stakeholder collaboration, and partnership are required to achieve equitable access to healthcare.
