Julio Bautista
Professional Development Content Designer
Julio Bautista (he/him/él) joined Children’s Institute in July 2023. He spent the last 10 years working in the public sector, which included working as an Upward Bound program coordinator, ELD instructional assistant, classroom teacher, on-track coordinator, & regional educator improvement coach. Julio has a deep commitment to creating and sustaining authentic and caring spaces for those most marginalized by society. He believes one vehicle to achieve such spaces involves honoring, trusting, and engaging the collective wisdom and knowledge of communities.
Julio graduated from George Fox University earning both his Bachelor of Arts and Master’s in Teaching. He is a first-generation college graduate and was a recipient of the Act Six Leadership Scholarship.
During his down time, Julio enjoys writing poetry, playing golf, and attending different concerts.
