April 3 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Join Stand for Children Oregon, in partnership with Children’s Institute, Decoding Dyslexia, Portland Public Schools, and Smart Reading, for a special screening of The Right to Read at the historic Hollywood Theatre. The Right to Read is a powerful documentary film about literacy as the greatest civil rights issue of our time. Following the film, we’ll be joined by local leaders and the star of the film, Kareem Weaver for a 30-minute panel discussion to explore the state of early literacy in Oregon and inspire meaningful action.
