From Insight to Impact: Oregon’s Early Childhood Data Tracker

November 20 @ 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm

What does the data tell us about how Oregon’s youngest children are doing? Where are we making progress, and where do gaps remain?

Until now, data about how well or poorly our state’s kids are faring has been scattered across disparate, difficult-to-find sources. That’s why Children’s Institute created the Oregon Early Childhood Data Tracker.

We invite you to join us virtually to learn about this new resource, which brings together key data, research, and policy insights to reveal what Oregon is getting right, where we’re falling short, and what gaps there are in data that keep us from measuring how well Oregon children are being served.

During this thirty minute webinar, we’ll:

  • Explore how the Data Tracker is organized around key milestones and indicators on the well-being of Oregon children and families.
  • Demonstrate how any user can navigate the Tracker and interpret the data.
  • Share examples of how educators, policymakers, funders, advocates, and community partners can use the Data Tracker to inform their work.
  • Leave time for your questions and discussion.

Whether you’re working in early learning, education, research, philanthropy, policy, or advocacy, we hope you’ll join us to explore how data can help advance a stronger early childhood system for Oregon’s children and families. Please feel free to forward this email to any colleagues and partners you think might be interested.
