Rashid Aziz (he/him) is a dedicated education and sustainability professional with experience in education policy, program evaluation, and research design. As a Research Associate at Children’s Institute, Rashid supports data-driven initiatives that inform early childhood policies and programs, helping improve equitable learning outcomes for children across Oregon.

Rashid has led impactful projects focused on integrating education, equity, and sustainability. He has designed and led distance learning programs, conducted research for policy recommendations on issues such as environmental education, multi-grade teaching, school leadership, and public-private partnerships, and provided evaluation and strategy support for initiatives aimed at improving gender equality and social inclusion.

After moving from Pakistan to Oregon in 2022, Rashid now spends his time exploring food and nature across the PNW, reading epic fantasy, and hanging out with his partner and cats, Feisty and Mad Max.
