Danielle Perry
Team Assistant
Danielle Perry (she/her) joined Children’s Institute to provide temporary administrative support in October 2024 before starting a permanent position as team assistant in March 2025. In this role, she provides support for teams across the organization to ensure that they can do the important work of making Oregon the best place to be a kid.
Before joining CI, Danielle worked at a number of different nonprofits in a variety of roles in Washington, DC, and Portland. Most recently, she helped folks get started in Girl Scouts of Oregon and SW Washington. The girl-led program there drove home how important it is for children to have age-appropriate decision-making power over their own lives.
Danielle graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English literature and religious studies, with a minor in theater, from Guilford College in Greensboro, NC. She has a passion for stories, and spends her free time writing, playing role-playing games, and analyzing media with friends.
